BespokeBees at the mill
Keep bees, properly.
“Pollination, new perceptions, pure joy and a life of appreciation.” Harry has kept bees for eight years and looks after thirty-five hives. He can look after yours too.
Meet HarryA Full Hive Management Service
Everything from installation through to honey in your jars, or roll your sleeves up and learn it alongside him.
BespokeBees provides a full hive and colony management service: installation, fortnightly inspections, colony management, honey extraction and overwintering. You can leave the lot to Harry, or get hands on and learn beekeeping as you go.
Every colony is very placid, bred for calmness and low aggression, and comes with a new queen. They are raised in a family apiary with plenty of noise and movement around them, including one very loud dog, so they are used to life going on nearby.

Why keep beesOne in Every Three Bites
One in every three bites of food we eat exists because of bees. Keeping a hive is one of the most useful things you can do for the land around you.
Pollination
A hive changes a garden, an orchard or a field. The difference in what grows around a colony in its first full season is hard to believe until you have watched it happen.
Your own honey
Expect upwards of twenty to thirty jars a year, full of the natural enzymes and vitamins that get processed out of the stuff on the supermarket shelf.
A good deed
Bee populations need all the help they can get. Putting a well managed colony into the landscape is one of the simplest things you can do for it.
