What's on at the mill.
A free tour of the waterwheel every Tuesday at 10.30am, six more for Heritage Open Days in September, and Elsworth’s ticketed evenings of supper clubs, cookery demos and live music. They are all in one calendar below.
Guided tours of the mill
Seven hundred years of Skipton's working life, the twenty-eight foot waterwheel, and the turbine that still puts power into the grid.
Tours start at 10.30am every Tuesday, take about an hour, and they are free. Get in touch to book a place, or just ask — there is usually someone about who will happily show you round. The Waterwheel House itself is open to everyone, all week, at no charge.
Six free tours, 11–20 September
High Corn Mill is taking part in England’s festival of history and culture. Every Heritage Open Days event is free, and the mill is opening for a guided tour on six of the ten days.
The tours run about seventy minutes and take twenty people, so they need booking — email Andrew Mear and he will put you down for one. Booking closes on 19 September.

Getting in: step-free throughout with disabled parking and Changing Places toilets, bar one small step into the Waterwheel House.
